Hi, I’m Tessa.

I learned to ride at a riding school, ended up working there, and found that teaching was where I belonged. Since then I've kept building my qualifications, and I still compete my own horses, so I know what it takes to prepare a horse and rider, and how daunting it can feel when you're just starting out.

What I love most is helping riders, kids and adults, have fun, reach their goals and gain confidence. For many people riding becomes a genuine outlet from the rest of life, good for mind and body. I want every lesson to feel safe, encouraging and worth coming back to.

• Master of Science in Agriculture, University of New England

• Working with Children Check

• First Aid certified
