Book a lesson

Pick a time below. New to riding, or no horse of your own? Start with a Single Lesson. A few things to know before you book:

• Riders must be 8 or older.

• Please bring your own correctly fitted riding helmet. A new helmet standard starts in January 2027, so most riders will need a new one. Horseland Bunbury can check the fit and standard (ask for a green tag). Second-hand helmets aren't advised, and a helmet with MIPS and a body protector or air vest are strongly recommended.

• A signed waiver and emergency contact details are needed each year, before your first ride. The link comes with your booking confirmation. Riders under 18 need a parent or guardian to sign.

• Please arrive 15 minutes early in enclosed shoes with a small heel and comfortable pants.

• Cancellations: 50% of the lesson fee if you cancel less than 24 hours before, and the full fee if less than 6 hours before. No fee applies if Tessa cancels because of unsafe weather or arena conditions, a horse being unavailable, or an emergency.

• Children's lessons run weekday afternoons, 4–6pm. Adult lessons run during the day by request. Weekend availability by request.

• Want a regular weekly time? Choose Repeat when you book and pick the number of weeks.
